Atacand® (candesartan cilexetil) is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB), indicated for the following:
- Essential hypertension
- Treatment of patients with heart failure and impaired left ventricle systolic function (left ventricular ejection fraction ≤40%) as add-on therapy to angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors or when ACE inhibitors are not tolerated

Atacand Plus® (candesartan cilexetil–hydrochlorothiazide) is a fixed combination of Atacand® and the diuretic hydrochlorothiazide (HCTZ), indicated for the following:
- Essential hypertension in patients whose blood pressure is not optimally controlled with candesartan cilexetil or hydrochlorothiazide monotherapy
